Who is eligible to apply for a Baisley Foundation grant?
Applicants must be undergraduate students enrolled at an accredited two- or four-year college or university who have completed at least one full year of study and maintain a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA. Additional eligibility criteria are outlined on the Eligibility page.
What types of degrees are supported?
The Foundation supports students pursuing associate’s or bachelor’s degrees at accredited institutions.
How are grants funds paid?
All grants awarded are paid directly to the student’s educational institution in the student’s name. Funds are not disbursed to students directly.
What expenses can the grant cover
Grants funds may be used for qualified educational expenses, including:

Other expenses may be considered if approved by the Foundation and the institution.
Do I need to demonstrate financial need?
Yes. Applicants are required to provide information demonstrating financial need as part of the application and review process.
Can part-time students apply?
Yes. Both full-time and part-time undergraduate students may apply, provided all other eligibility requirements are met.
How much is each grant award?
Award amounts vary based on available funding, demonstrated financial need, and the number of qualified applicants. There is no guaranteed award amount.
Is the grant renewable?
Grants are awarded on a non-renewable basis unless otherwise stated. Students must reapply for consideration in future award cycles.
What happens if I transfer schools?
Recipients must notify the Foundation if they plan to transfer to another accredited institution. Continued eligibility and use of funds are subject to Foundation approval.
What happens if I withdraw or my enrollment status changes?
If a recipient withdraws, reduces enrollment, or becomes academically ineligible, any unused funds may be returned to the Foundation in accordance with institutional policies.
How and when will I be notified of a decision?
Applicants will be notified by email on July 1st for the fall semester and December 1st for Spring Semester.
Does the Foundation discriminate in its selection process?
No. The Baisley Foundation awards scholarships without regard to race, color, religion, gender, national origin, disability, or other protected characteristics, in accordance with applicable law.
